another year full of challenges and victory,
how blessed to live through yet another revolution of this fruitful earth
as long as my faith endures,
i am not alone
my heart beats with my kin,
and i find life precious most when reflecting upon it
i will set my gaze on distant shores,
knowing that i will reach them in due time,
and, until then, my only desire is to keep living
